Ottoni Fabbrica's plastic-free kettle finally available in Switzerland!
A few years ago, while searching for a truly plastic-free kettle, we came across Ottoni Fabbrica. Our first model came from Amazon, via relatives in Germany. At that time, it wasn't possible to order with a Swiss address.
Unfortunately, that kettle is no longer with us. A friend of our oldest son mistook the kettle for a regular stovetop kettle, like the one he knew from home, and heated our kettle on the stove. The electronics didn't survive, and we had to dispose of our beloved kettle. Since it is mostly made of stainless steel, it is very easy to recycle.
Ottoni Fabbrica is an Italian family business that has been producing high-quality stainless steel household goods for over 60 years. With their great passion for steel processing, the company now manufactures products of the highest quality and optimal functionality. The raw materials come from Europe, and production takes place exclusively in Italy.
Of course, the kettles come with a proud price. This is absolutely justified given the durability, local production, and unparalleled quality of the products.
All kettles come with a Swiss plug and have a removable stainless steel filter for limescale. The water exclusively comes into contact with stainless steel. The kettle can be cleaned wonderfully with vinegar. It is not entirely possible to avoid plastic in the electrical components, which does not affect the outstanding appearance of the kettles. Ottoni Fabbrica also avoids unnecessary plastic in the packaging.
