About Us

We are the family behind Wert&Voll.

For ten years, we have been reducing plastic in our daily lives. We live with our chickens in Seeland, enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors, and collect the rubbish we encounter in nature. Wert&Voll is our own business because independence is important to us and because it's fun to learn something new every day.

Our Goal

We offer you sustainable products for plastic-free food storage and transport. Only items we use daily ourselves make it into our range. This helps you avoid harmful substances and waste in your everyday life. For us, that also includes personal customer service like you'd find in a shop.

Our Story

We didn't found Wert&Voll. We took it over, and that happened in a way that couldn't have been planned.

    Nik Berva Founds Wert&Voll

    His idea: an online shop for sustainable stainless steel containers to reduce plastic waste in Swiss kitchens.

  2. 2018

    Nik is looking for a successor

    He wants to fully pursue his calling as a carpenter again. The shop should go to good hands.

  3. 2018

    A forest playgroup in Kerzers

    There, with our son, we see the Onyx Containers for the first time. We ask about them, and it turns out that one of the managers is the trustee of Wert&Voll. The shop is for sale.

  4. 2019

    We'll take over

    After much consideration and with great courage, we are taking over Nik's shop at the beginning of 2019. The start of our own history with Wert&Voll.

    Over 1000 reviews later

    Since then, we have been continuously developing the shop, now including our own laser engraving service. What has remained is that a family is on the other end of the line for you.

What are your shipping costs and from what order value do you offer free shipping?

We deliver free of charge for purchases of CHF 99.- or more. Below that, you pay a flat rate per parcel: CHF 8.- with B-Post or CHF 10.- with A-Post. Orders containing only gift cards are always free of shipping costs. There is no minimum order quantity.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We ship your goods within 1-3 business days. How quickly the package arrives after that depends on the postal service. We cannot be held liable for delayed deliveries by the postal service. The invoice is enclosed in a paper envelope attached to the package.

Can I order on account?

Yes, purchase on account is possible and processed through POWERPAY. You will need a valid email address for this, and the invoice will come directly from POWERPAY. It is payable within 14 days at no extra cost.

How do I configure the engraving?

Via the "Configure Engraving" button on the product page. There you enter what you want to engrave: names, texts or sayings, as well as the font and, if desired, a symbol. For lunch boxes, the engraving is placed on the lid. Engraving is done permanently by laser.

Can I return an engraved product if I don't like it?

No. Personalized products with engravings are excluded from the 30-day return policy. For all products without engravings, the 30-day return policy applies, as long as they are returned without signs of use and with intact packaging. Therefore, please double-check the spelling, names, and symbols before ordering.

How long is the warranty and what does it cover?

The product pages state a 2-year warranty. An exchange is possible in case of obvious transport damage or a manufacturing defect. We will handle communication with the manufacturer for you, so you don't have to worry about it. After return and inspection, you will receive a free replacement immediately.
