Very sturdy and actually hold very well. They look good and feel high-quality. I am very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. Due to the zigzag pattern on the inside, the clips are more suitable for thicker/sturdier fabrics and less so for thinner/finer materials. For fine materials, I find the wide Karl Weiss clips more suitable.
